Welcome to Homeless Raven
This isn’t another feel-good dog blog. Homeless Raven is where we serve dog training straight—science-based, brutally honest, and fact-checked. If you're looking for sugar-coated advice or trendy nonsense, you're in the wrong place. We think modern dog culture’s overdosed on positivity and allergic to reality. So yes, we lean bitter—because that’s where the truth usually hides.
Here, you'll find our videos, gear and course recommendations we actually use, and real info that might sting a little but works. We also offer consultations if you need someone who won’t nod and smile while your dog drags you down the street.
No fluff. No fakery. Just results.

What is NePoPo®?
NePoPo®—an acronym for Negative, Positive, Positive—is a dog training methodology developed by Bart and Michael Bellon. It integrates principles of operant conditioning to create a communication system that fosters both compliance and enthusiasm in dogs.
The methodology is versatile, suitable for various contexts including pet obedience, competitive sports, and working dog scenarios. It emphasizes the importance of clear communication, consistency, and the dog's active participation in the learning process.

What is Prong Collar?
The prong collar is a tool used in balanced training that mimics how dogs naturally communicate—through pressure and release. It’s a clear, consistent way to speak a dog’s language. When introduced properly, the collar becomes a neutral signal dogs can understand and even associate with positive outcomes. It’s about structured communication dogs instinctively recognize.
